Column A-Side: Connor Bugelli

Reflecting and refracting Bugelli’s mechanisms, for Column A-Side #003, Bugelli has presented a mix of DIY bands orbiting the sounds of folk, post punk, shoegaze and ambient. When in doubt, make no sense.

Column A-Side: Connor Bugelli

#003 “When in doubt, make no sense. No sense is good. And nonsense is good.”

Connor Bugelli is a visual and tactile artist based in Sydney, Australia. Bugelli’s, who previously has been articulated as someone who “observes his art like a clinician. There’s an undercurrent of painful forgetting,” feels refreshingly sacrilegious with his work – embracing screen printing and concrete over concrete; his acts fixated on the de- and reconstruction of it all. A feedback loop between production and reproduction
